Say Aloha to Yoga

If you are looking for a unique yoga experience whether you are a beginner, avid yogi, or searching for a summer camp for your kids look no further than Aloha Yoga and Hula in Chandler.

Located on Ray and Rural I stumbled upon this yoga studio a year ago. I have always been interested in yoga. I bought some DVD’s and tried to watch YouTube videos, but I just wasn’t sure if I was developing my yoga practice correctly. As I have learned yoga is something you continue to practice, but I wanted correct postures and positions, so I did not injure myself.

Then, I found Aloha Yoga and Hula, their owner, Myriam offered an Introduction to Yoga course. This four-week class gave me the basic knowledge of yoga. She taught us the correct basic positions and alignment to ensure we would not injure ourselves. My love for yoga has continued to grow. I was also able to enroll my son in her Kid’s Yoga classes. He loves them and continues to ask when he will be going to his next one. Aloha Yoga and Hula also offers an adventurous summer camp for girls. At this summer camp, your little ladies 4-11 will learn dances, yoga, do crafts and create a memorable summer. There are many different schedules offered, you can view all summer camps here.

Along with her many yoga classes, Myriam also offers Hula, Belly and Tahitian dancing classes to her students. Each year she and her students perform at the Aloha Festival in downtown Tempe. Myriam’s immediate warmth and kindness makes each student feel welcome in her beautiful studio.

Her studio is one-of-a-kind as well. The floors look as if you are wading through the oceans and the ocean décor lining the walls gives the same effect. You will always embrace beautiful smells as you enter her studio. She has mastered essential oils and uses them to relax, rejuvenate or energize, depending upon the needs of each class. At the end of her yoga class, you will even be treated with a gentle neck massage, if you wish.

With her knowledge of essential oils, Myriam has also created a unique skin care line. All her products are chemical free. Her products include face washes, body lotions, sunscreen, and deodorant. You can shop them in her online store here, or in the studio.

Do yourself and your body a favor by attending your first yoga class today! Or, sign up your little ones for a delightful summer surprise!
